Tobias was a chatterbox from day one. His parents liked to joke there wasn’t a question he didn’t ask nor a question he wouldn’t answer. It made for some interesting conversations at the breakfast table. And the lunch room. And the dinner table. The kid was just so inquisitive. He didn’t seem to have any ego when it came to talking. He’d talk to anyone. So it was no surprise when he came home one day and said he’d been recruited by his history teacher to join the debate team. Not only did he have a firm grasp of the oral tradition, turned out he could talk fast. Real fast. Incredibly fast. An affable personality + fast talking + charisma and he could have been a great con-man. Or politician. But Tobias is an auctioneer! He loves nothing better than a bidding war, the ultimate high for a chatterbox, a can I get a, do I hear a, going going gone,.rollicking good time.
