Twyla always has rocks in her pockets…but not just any rocks. Crystals. She started carrying the rocks with her at all times in her early twenties. It was the easiest way to explain. She’d go to a dinner party and the rocks would come out, because someone would invariably ask her about her studies and her reply of Crystallography brought on the furrowed brows and ‘say what nows?’ The rocks were the easiest way to explain.
