Ola is the host one of the most popular crime podcasts on the air today. Even amongst the glut of podcasts about crime that are available, Ola’s stands out. I’m sure you’ve heard it at this point, or at least heard someone else talking about it: Fictional Forensics. She is a true connoisseur of all things crime novels, cutting her teeth on Agatha Christie and Dorothy Sayers, graduating to Hammet and Chandler, then Ellroy, Leonard, Highsmith, Larson, Nesbø, Mankell and all the ones in between. She spent her early years post college in public radio, working as an editor and also helping develop podcasts. So she was very well situated when she came up with the idea of merging her two loves: journalism and crime novels. As the host of the show, Ola interviews characters in popular crime novels. Genius. Her show has won countless awards, driven  book sales, spurred limited series streaming deals, and there is a long list of actors chomping at the bit to take on a roll on the podcast. Ola is an absolute juggernaut with no end point in sight.
