Keaton technically means ‘place of hawks’ or ‘place of cattle’ but don’t tell Keaton’s mom that. The name Keaton is basically her spirit animal and style icon rolled into one, and it has nothing to do with flying birds or cows. Born in 1977, he was named for the iconic Diane Keaton’s turn as the titular character Annie Hall. When Keaton was 12 he began raiding his mothers closet, borrowing the vest and the ties and the hats his mom was rocking when he was born. He was both the odd man out and the coolest kid in school. Raised on a strict diet of eclectic music and classic comedy, it’s no wonder he sought out the stage at a young age. Unlike Keaton’s character, this Keaton does make a living as a nightclub singer. Just as odd and elegant as the original, Keaton is the front man of the band Annie Hall.
