Leopold is a Naturalist. He loves all things Nature. As a kid he would spend hours outside his house in the woods, looking for interesting bugs, birds, plants. It all fascinated him. He kept a sketchbook on hand and would draw and take copious notes on his findings then present to his parents at dinner. He has a double PHD in biology and environmental sciences, and during the week he works for the Nature Conservancy as the lead scientist in charge of food and water systems research. Being an effective naturalist depends entirely on ones ability to gather information by watching, listening & carefully observing your physical environment. And this is where Leopold really shines. Every Thursday throughout the school year you can find him leading what is widely hailed as the best Scavenger Hunt in America.
