Nell was the only daughter in a family of six. You heard me right, the girl has five brothers. She was number five in the line up, so it’s no wonder she learned to dribble a basketball not soon after she learned how to walk.She just wanted to play all the time. A born and bred Hoosier. she was on the Indiana all state championship team her senior year and got a full ride to UCONN  She loved playing college ball but didn’t make it to the pros. She did, however, make it to the WNBA. She parlayed her love of hoops into a career as a recruiter for the LA Sparks and loves it. She might not play herself, but she did get a jersey on her ten year anniversary with the organization: They call her “the fairy godmother” because she swoops in and makes girls dreams come true.
